Dr. Erica McIntosh is a licensed clinical social worker focused on research, practice and the promotion of mental and physical health equity for Black Indigenous People of Color (BIPOC).  Dr. McIntosh attended Ashford University, earning a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a master’s degree in Social Work from California State University, Northridge, and attended California Baptist University for her Doctorate in Social Work. 

Dr. McIntosh has extensive experience collaborating with clients to help them build wellness/coping skills in managing life transitions, setting boundaries, understanding self, and overcoming burnout. Dr. McIntosh is especially passionate about supporting individuals who experience the added stress and trauma of marginalization, racism, identity, and other -isms. Dr. McIntosh’s practice specializes in individual therapy, telemental health, couples counseling, promoting self-care, emotional intelligence, trauma-informed care, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, career issues, marriage/relationships stress, clinical supervision, and consultation for Black Indigenous People of Color.  Dr. McIntosh is currently an assistant professor at California Baptist University.
